Jolly Bastian, a prominent figure known for directing action sequences across multiple languages, including Kannada, passed away unexpectedly due to a heart attack on Tuesday, December 26, at the age of 57.

His sudden demise has deeply saddened many. Notably, he served as a stunt director for numerous films, including 'Premaloka' and 'Masterpiece.'

Born in Alleppey, Kerala, and raised in Bangalore, Jolly's journey from bike mechanic to action choreographer was remarkable.

His career ignited at 17, doubling for Ravichandran in "Premloka." Over the years, Jolly mastered the art of thrilling stunts, contributing to over 900 films across Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam. From "Masterpiece" to "Ninangagi Kadiruve," his directorial debut, Jolly captivated audiences with his dynamic action sequences.
