It’s About People, Not Grandiosity: Naga Chaitanya On Marriage Plans With Sobhitha Dhulipala

After his engagement to Sobhitha Dhulipala, Naga Chaitanya made his first media appearance while launching a new wedding collection for the brand Tasva in Hyderabad.

When asked whether he prefers a simple or extravagant wedding, Naga Chaitanya responded, "For me, a wedding is all about the people who matter. It doesn't have to be grand."

He indicated that his wedding will follow traditional Telugu customs but refrained from providing more details. When pressed further about the marriage, he simply said, "We will talk about it soon."

Rumors suggest that the wedding might take place in Rajasthan, possibly in December or March, though Chaitanya did not confirm the location.

Naga Chaitanya and Sobhitha Dhulipala got engaged on August 8, with the news coming as a surprise to many fans due to the low-key nature of the event. Speculation about their engagement began only on the day of the announcement.

However, his father and superstar Nagarjuna had claimed in an earlier interview that the wedding was not on the cards. He said, "We chose to have a hurried engagement because it was an auspicious day, and since Chay and Sobhita are very sure that they want to marry, we said, let's do it."

Naga Chaitanya was earlier married to Samantha. Their four-year marriage ended in 2021.

Nonetheless, her fans of Samantha have targeted Sobhitha ever since Chaitanya got engaged to her.

Days ago, Sobhitha was trolled by Samantha fans after Nagarjuna's convention centre was razed down by the officials for constructing in encroached land.

Talking about his daughter-in-law to-be, Nag said, "Sobhita is a wonderful girl, very sober grounded and not at all like a typical actress. I have always counted my blessings in life. Now I feel God has given me everything. I can't ask for anymore."
