Social media has been buzzing with rumours about Ramya, also known as Divya Spandana, reportedly falling in love with a mysterious man after some photos went viral.

A report by FirstPost News claimed that Ramya is in love again with a businessman and is set to marry him on November 29. It further claimed that the actress-turned-politician got engaged to the man at an upscale hotel in Bengaluru.

However, Ramya, who is fondly known as the "Golden Girl" in Sandalwood, has addressed these rumours with a statement. In a post on her Instagram, she wrote, "I have been married so many times by the media, I have lost count. If and when I get married, you will hear it from me. Please stop with the rumors from unverified sources."

Ramya was a leading actress in Sandalwood before she ventured into politics in 2012. After winning a by-election from the Mandya Lok Sabha constituency, she lost in the 2014 general elections. Subsequently, she served as the head of the Social Media Department for the Congress Party. However, after the party's disappointing performance in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, she stepped down from her position.

Ramya has since launched her own production house, AppleBox Studios. Her debut production, Swathi Mutthina Male Haniye, directed by Raj B. Shetty, garnered much acclaim for its content, direction, and performances. Actress Siri Ravikumar even won the Best Actor in a Lead Role (Female) award for her performance in the film.
