Director Sundar C, fresh off the success of his Tamil blockbuster Mada Gada Raja, is currently working on the much-anticipated Mookuthi Amman 2, with Nayanthara returning in the titular role.

Recently, reports surfaced claiming that Nayanthara was upset over an assistant director's behavior on set. However, producer and actress Khushbu Sundar took to social media to dismiss the speculation, assuring fans that all was well with the project.

The film, a fantasy comedy, boasts an impressive cast, including Regina Cassandra, Meena, Abhinaya, Duniya Vijay, and Yogi Babu in pivotal roles. Produced by Ishari K. Ganesh, Khushbu Sundar, and Vignesh Shivan, with music composed by Hiphop Tamizha, Mookuthi Amman 2 is currently in production, with the release date yet to be announced.
