Is Nayanthara Considering The Offer Rejected By Kareena Kapoor? Lady Superstar Approached For Yash's 'Toxic'
For months now, there have been reports that Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor was approached for Yash's upcoming movie 'Toxic'.
Although the initial reports had claimed that she was offered the female lead, it was then claimed that she would be playing the role of Yash's sister in the flick.

Now, the latest report claims that Kareena has turned down the offer. The speculations have been doing rounds amid the actress' issuing statement that she has not signed the project.
Interestingly, the makers of 'Toxic' have not approached Lady Superstar Nayanthara.
"Nayanthara has shown her interest in doing Toxic and the logistics are being figured out at this point in-time. It's a well-sketched character of a sister and suits her image of a strong woman. Nayanthara is impressed that Geethu Mohandas has written such a strong character for a female and she is connecting well with her vision," a website quoted a source as claiming.
Both Yash and director Geethu Mohandas are keen to have Nayan on board. "The talks are on, and the team is working collectively to get the logistics in place. If everything goes well, the makers will have Nayanthara on board in a fortnight," the source added.
It is interesting to note that Nayanthara had worked only one movie in Sandalwood. It was Upendra's blockbuster movie 'Super' in 2010.
As far as the female lead in 'Toxic' is concerned, Kiara Advani will play the female lead.
Currently in production, 'Toxic' is slated to release on April 10, 2025. The movie is currently beng shot in Bengaluru.
Geetu Mohandas is known for her works in the Malayalam film industry. She has directed the Hindi road film 'Liar's Dice' and the action thriller 'Moothon'. The movie is bankrolled by KVN Productions which has made movies such as 'Pogaru' and 'Bytwo Love'.
The upcoming movie, which will be made in multiple languages like Yash's previous film 'KGF', will be funded by KVN Productions.
