Is Darshan's Brother Dinakar Really Staying In Rented 1 BHK House & Financially Struggling? Vasu Clarifies

Has Kannada actor Darshan ignored his family members? Why a superstar who commands over Rs 20 crore per film let his brother Dinakar stay in a rented 1BHK house? Why his mother Meena Thoogudeepa has continued to stay in her house 'Mupa Krupa' in Mysuru? These are some of the questions that have been raised by public and media since his arrest in Renuka Swamy's murder case.

However, his friend and filmmaker H Vasu has put an end to all the speculations around his alleged troublesome relationship with his family members.

Is Dinakar Really Staying In Rented House?

H Vasu has denied the reports and said that Darshan's younger brother stays in 2 BHK house. "Dhiankar wants to stay in a house purchased with his own money. He owns multiple properties and is planning to build a house near KLE College. Contrary to some perceptions, Dinakar is not financially struggling; he lives a lifestyle befitting the brother of a superstar, with a strong familial bond between them."

This confusion was created after a video of Dinakar went viral where he claimed that he was staying in a rented BHK house.

Dinakar started his career as an assistant director and became independent filmmaker with 'Jothe Jotheyali' which was produced by Meena Thoogudeepa. He then delivered two hit movies in the form of 'Navagraha' and 'Sarathi'. He also co-produced Darshan's 'Bul Bul'.

However, his last movie 'Life Jothe Ondh Selfie' bombed at the box office.

Why Meena Thoogudeepa Not Staying With Sons?

On the other hand, H Vasu stated that Meena Thoogudeepa chooses to reside in her Mysuru home willingly. "She has always expressed her preference to live in the house built by her husband(late actor Thoogudeepa Srinivas), visiting her sons' homes as she desires. She has always maintained, 'I cherish living in this house and have no intention of leaving.'"

He ended on the note that Darshan shares good relationship with his brother and mother.

Kannada actor Darshan, actress Pavithra Gowda and 15 others have been arrested in connection with the murder case of Renuka Swamy.

A Bengaluru court on Saturday remanded Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa to judicial custody in the Renukaswamy murder case till July 4.
