Is Bhavana Menon s Marriage Heading For Divorce Malayalam Actress Shoots Down The Rumours

For some time now, there have been speculations that her marriage was in trouble. It was because she rarely posted pictures of her with her husband. As a result, rumours have been doing rounds claiming that all was not well in her marriage.

Bhavana Menon married Kannada film producer Naveen on January 22, 2018. The intimate Kerala-style wedding took place at Thiruvambadi Sri Krishna Temple in Thrissur, attended only by family and close friends.

She met Naveen during the making of Kannada movie Romeo starring Ganesh in 2012. After being in a relationship for few years, they got engaged in March 2017 in a low-key ceremony arranged by Bhavana's father.

Bhavana started off her acting career with Malayalam film Nammal (2002). She later entered Tamil cinema with Chithiram Pesuthadi, directed by Mysskin, and went on to star in popular films such as Veyil, Deepavali, Koodal Nagar, Arya, Rameswaram, Vaazhthugal, and Aasal alongside Ajith.

Surprisingly, the actress was not seen in Kollywood movies after Ajith-starrer Aasal. On asking her about the long break, she blamed her then manager who had failed to bring projects to her. "I treated shooting locations like vacation trips and, as a result, missed several big opportunities," she admitted.

One such missed opportunity was Vijay's Puli, directed by Chimbu Devan. She was the first choice to play the role done by Hansika Motwani. However, she lost the project for some reasons.

Her upcoming movies are: Kannada film Uttarakhanda, and Malayalam movies like Anomie, Pink Note and Yours Sincerely Ram.
