India's Got Latent Controversy: Samay Raina, Ranveer Allahbadia Join BJP?

Opposition in India often claims that people who are guilty in any case, can get a clean chit if they join the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). They have also coined the term 'BJP's washing machine', which cleans all stains and allegations.

Taking a cue from the same, social media users have now started making fun of India's Got Latent stand-up comedians Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia and advised them to join the BJP. Along with them, Apoorva Mukhiya, Ashish Chanchalani, and Jaspreet Singh have also been named in the FIRs under the charges of using abusive language, promoting obscenity, engaging in sexually explicit and spreading vulgarity.

Now, a photo of Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia has gone viral showing both of them wearing BJP's scarf. The photo is badly edited and clears that it is a fake one. However, people in the comment section have gone gaga and are posting hilarious comments.

A user said, "This Happens Only In India" (with a laughing emoji). Another user said: Samay Raina and Ranveer Alhabadia washed out their sins even without going to Mahakumbh"

Another use took the pun to the next level stating: Samay Raina and Ranveer Alhabadia's videos were posted by Pakistan.

After the controversy, Samay Raina deleted all the episodes of India's Got Latent from his YouTube channel, which had garnered millions of views.

"Everything that is happening has been too much for me to handle. I have removed all India's Got Latent videos from my channel. My only objective was to make people laugh and have a good time. I will fully cooperate with all agencies to ensure their inquiries are concluded fairly. Thank you," Samay wrote.
