IIFA 2025 Nominations Full List: Laapataa Ladies, Stree 2 Smell Award In Various Categories

The International Indian Film Academy Awards 2025 aka IIFA Awards nomination list is out now. Directed by Kiran Rao, 'Laapata Ladies' is leading the pack as it has been named in nine categories, while Kartik Aryan starrer 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' helmed by Anees Bazmee has been named in seven categories.

Raj Kumar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor and Tamannaah Bhatia starrer 'Stree 2 - Sarkate Ka Aatak' is also in the spotlight with six category nominations. These films dominated box office this year and set records in terms of worldwide collection.

The IIFA Awards will celebrate its silver jubilee edition in Jaipur on March 8 and 9. This prestigious event will honour excellence in cinema across ten categories, including Best Film, Best Direction, and various performance awards. Bollywood icons Shah Rukh Khan and Kartik Aaryan are set to host the ceremony.

Best Film and Direction Nominees

In the Best Film category, contenders include 'Laapataa Ladies', 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3', 'Stree 2 - Sarkate Ka Aatank', 'Kill', 'Article 370', and 'Shaitan'. Competing for Best Direction are filmmakers like Kiran Rao, Nikhil Nagesh Bhatt, Kaushik, Siddharth Anand, Anees Bazmee, and Aditya Suhas Jambhale.

Nitanshi Goyal, Alia Bhatt, Yami Gautam, Katrina Kaif, and Shraddha Kapoor vie for Best Performance in a Lead Role (Female). Meanwhile, Sparsh Srivastava, Rajkumar Rao, Kartik Aryan, Abhishek Bachchan, and Ajay Devgan are nominated for Best Performance in a Lead Role (Male).

Supporting Roles and Negative Role Nominees

For Best Performance in a Supporting Role (Female), Chhaya Kadam, Vidya Balan, Janaki Bodiwala, Jyotika, and Priyamani are in contention. In the male category for supporting roles are Ravi Kishan, Abhishek Banerjee, Fardeen Khan, Rajpal Yadav, and Manoj Pahwa.

The nominees for Best Performance in a Negative Role include Raghav Juyal, R Madhavan, Gajraj Rao, Vivek Gomber and Arjun Kapoor. These actors have been recognised for their compelling portrayals of antagonistic characters.

Music Direction and Playback Singer Categories

Sachin-Jigar and Tanishk Bagchi each have two nominations for Best Music Direction. Sachin-Jigar is recognised for their work on 'Stree 2', while Tanishk Bagchi is nominated for 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3'. Other nominees include Pritam and Lijo George.

In the playback singer category are Arijit Singh, Karan Aujla, Diljit Dosanjh among others. Shreya Ghoshal stands out with two nominations for her songs in 'Laapataa Ladies' and 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3'. Madhubanti Bagchi is nominated for 'Stree 2', Rekha Bhardwaj for 'Kill', and Shilpa Rao for 'Fighter'.
