I Was Angry With Darshan For Going To Dubai With Vijayalakshmi: Pavithra Gowda's Confession In Chargesheet

Pavithra Gowda has reportedly told the police that she was upset with Kannada actor Darshan for traveling to Dubai with his wife, Vijayalakshmi, in May without informing her. This information is part of the chargesheet filed in connection with the Renuka Swamy murder case.

According to a report by Public TV citing the chargesheet, Pavithra said, "Darshan went to Dubai on May 19, 2024, with Vijayalakshmi to celebrate their wedding anniversary without informing me. I had a fight with Darshan, and since then, I stopped talking to him."

She also spoke to the police about her relationship with Darshan, claiming she was unaware that he was married to Vijayalakshmi when they first met in 2013. She detailed how their relationship developed over the years.

"In 2014, when I auditioned for 'Bull Bull,' I shared my modeling profile with Darshan and got his mobile number from a known manager. When I contacted Darshan about the audition, it had already been completed. He said he would let me know if there were any opportunities for other films. Using this as a pretext, we began talking on the phone, chatting on WhatsApp, and calling each other every day," she added.

On the murder of Renuka Swamy, Pavithra stated, "A person from the Instagram account 'KS Gautham 1990' was sending me many obscene messages, photos, and videos. I did not complain about this. Later, I discussed with Pavan about finding the person sending these messages. For that, Pavan asked Darshan's fans to locate him in Chitradurga."

The chargesheet mentions that Renuka Swamy was eventually tracked down and assaulted, allegedly on the orders of those associated with Darshan.

The police last week submitted a preliminary chargesheet of 3,991 pages in the case, shedding light on the sequence of events and the involvement of each accused. Darshan is currently lodged in Ballari prison after being moved from Parappana Agrahara Central Jail.
