I Plead You With Folded Hands, Please Leave Me Sir: Darshan To Cops During Investigation

After refusing to reveal details about his involvement in the murder case of Renuka Swamy, there seems to be a change in his attitude as he has reportedly pleaded with the cops to leave him, TV9 Kannada reported.

Darshan and his aides' judicial custody has been extended till June 20. Although the investigation has been progressing at a brisk pace and many of his aides have spoken about his role in the murder, the actor has remained tight-lipped during the investigation.

However, things have changed from Saturday and Darshan's response has become "Sir, I plead you with folded hands, please leave me," the actor said, as per the report.

Darshan was arrested on June 11 following the brutal murder of Chitradurga-based man Renuka Swamy.

Renuka Swamy had allegedly sent obscene messages to Darshan's friend Pavithra Gowda. He was kidnapped from Chitradurga and brutally murdered at the actor's shed on June 8.

The body was thrown at a drainage.

Meanwhile, Kannada superstar Upendra has broken silence over the Renuka Swamy murder case allegedly by the aides of actor Darshan.

He has shared a post in which he has batted for the adoption of embracing technology to record the evidence and share it with the concerned family and people to have transparency.

"In any case, it's imperative that investigations are video-recorded, and authorities should be legally obliged to share these findings with concerned family members. Gone are the days of recording findings on paper; with modern technology, everything should be video-recorded and live-streamed for transparency.

When public figures are involved, it's even more crucial that investigation videos are periodically disclosed to the public, ensuring transparency and thwarting corruption, evidence tampering, and undue influence. Only then can clarity prevail for Renuka Swamy's family, the public, TV channels, and Darshan's fans. This approach ensures justice for the victim," he concluded.
