I Live With No Regrets: Malaika Arora After Breaking Up With Arjun Kapoor

Malaika Arora, who recently ended her five-year relationship with Arjun Kapoor, says she has no regrets about the choices she's made, as they have shaped her life in meaningful ways.

In an interview with GlobalSpa Magazine, Malaika shared, "I believe every choice I have made, both personally and professionally, has shaped my life for a reason. I live with no regrets and feel fortunate that things have unfolded the way they have."

Reports in May suggested that Malaika and Arjun had decided to part ways. Despite the breakup, both are expected to respect each other's privacy and maintain a dignified silence. A source close to the pair had told a website earlier: "They had a long, loving, and fruitful relationship that, unfortunately, has run its course. This doesn't mean there is any bad blood between them. They respect each other immensely and have been a pillar of strength for each other."

The source added that both Malaika and Arjun will hold a special place in each other's hearts, but they have mutually chosen to move forward separately. "They won't allow anyone to drag or dissect their relationship," the source told Pinkvilla.

Looking to the future, Malaika is eager to take on new opportunities in the entertainment industry. She expressed her interest in exploring substantial acting roles, saying, "While I have done guest appearances and moments in films, I would love the experience of playing a well-developed, substantial role." She also revealed her ambitions to launch a chain of cafes and restaurants offering healthy cuisine. While she continues to enjoy her roles on television and in films, her entrepreneurial ventures have brought her a new sense of joy and perspective on life.

Nonetheless, Arjun Kapoor stood by her during the difficult phase following the death of her step father Anil Mehta who died by suicide in September.
