Hyderabad Sandhya Theater Stampede: Allu Arjun, Pushpa 2 Makers Give Rs 2 Cr Financial Aid To Victim's Family

Allu Arjun's father, Allu Arvind, on Wednesday announced that film Pushpa 2 makers would provide financial assistance to the victim's family. They have pledged Rs 2 crore to support them. Of this amount, Allu Arjun himself is contributing one crore rupees. The remaining amount will be shared equally by the producers and directors of Pushpa 2.

The tragic incident resulted in the death of Revathi, an 8-year-old boy named Sritej's mother, during a stampede in Hyderabad on December 4. Sritej is currently receiving treatment at KIMS Hospital and remains on a ventilator. Despite these challenges, his condition is stable.

Pushpa 2 Box Office Success

Despite the ongoing controversy, Allu Arjun's film Pushpa 2 continues to perform exceptionally well at the box office. After 21 days since its release, it has amassed Rs 11.05 crore on Tuesday alone. This brings its total domestic earnings to Rs 1101.15 crore. Globally, according to Sacnilk, it has surpassed Rs 1500 crores in collections.

The film features Rashmika Mandanna and Fahahd Faasil alongside Allu Arjun in leading roles. The movie has been breaking records consistently since its debut.

Ongoing Investigation

The police have questioned Allu Arjun regarding his involvement in the stampede case. He has been cooperative throughout the investigation process. Authorities have indicated that they may call him for further questioning if necessary.
