Hrithik Roshan To Step Into The Shoes Of Pankaj Tripathi In 'Mirzapur'?

Will hit web series 'Mirzapur' be adapted to to cinema? As per a report, there are plans to make a movie with Hrithik Roshan in the lead.

Hrithik is in talks with the makers and he might play Pankaj Tripathi's iconic role of Kaleen Bhaiyya. "There hasn't been any official announcement yet. The producers and studio are involved in this decision, and they will provide the official statement. Only then can everything become clearer. So, at this moment, I can't give you a definite yes or no," director Gurmeet Singh told Dainik Bhaskar.

However, he refused to confirm whether Hrithik is playing the lead. "As for Hrithik, the same response applies - until the higher authorities say something, I can't reveal anything," he added.

'Mirzapur' is a crime thriller series on Amazon Prime Video, created by Karan Anshuman, who co-wrote the script with Puneet Krishna and Vineet Krishna.

Anshuman directed the first season alongside Gurmmeet Singh and Mihir Desai, with Desai also directing the second season. The series is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under Excel Entertainment.
