How Much Money Will Kannada Producers Lose If Darshan Is Jailed? Kanakpura Srinivas Reveals The Amount
Producer Kanakpura Srinivas has expressed hope for actor Darshan's swift release from jail in connection with the Renuka Swamy murder case.
Speaking to the media, Srinivas stated, "I do not believe Darshan has committed the crime. I have known him for two decades. He is a good man with a good heart. The people around him are bad and might have misled him." He added that the producers would face significant losses if Darshan remains in jail, noting, "Rs 150 crore is riding on him. I am sure he will be out of jail after 90 days. He will start shooting, and you will watch and interview him."

Srinivas also mentioned that he has secured Darshan's dates for future projects.
Darshan, along with his friend Pavithra Gowda and 15 others, has been arrested in connection with the murder of Renuka Swamy. At the time of his arrest, the star actor was busy shooting his much-hyped film, 'Devil: The Hero', directed and funded by Prakash in collaboration with J Jayamma. The movie was initially planned for a December release, but this timeline is now uncertain due to his arrest.
In addition to 'Devil: The Hero', Darshan has several other projects lined up. He is set to reunite with director Tharun Sudhir for a historical venture on the Indian revolutionary fighter, 'Sindhoora Lakshmana'. This project is being produced by Shylaja Nag and Suresha B of Media House Studio, with music composed by V Harikrishna.
Tharun Sudhir had earlier directed Darshan's two hit movies: 'Roberrt' and 'Kaatera'.
After completing 'Kaatera', Darshan will collaborate with Rockline Venkatesh on 'Raja Veera Madakari Nayaka', a film based on the life of King Madakari Nayaka, the last ruler of Chitradurga. This movie will be directed by Rajendra Singh Babu. Additionally, Darshan is set to work with Prem, with whom he previously delivered the blockbuster 'Kariya'.
