Bengaluru-based singer Kenishaa Francis on Saturday responded to the allegations of affair with Tamil actor Jayam Ravi.

In an Insta Story, she shared a video of Jayam Ravi's statement and slammed the people who made allegations against her over Jayam Ravi's separation with wife Aarthi.

"For all you beautiful people that have been asking me horrible questions without decency and respect - here's an answer. I hope this calms your heart and mind now," she said in the message.

She also shared crptic posts on her Instagram page stating that trauma does not make a person stronger. The message read: "Not everyone's trauma gives them thick skin. Some people's trauma made them more sensitive and insecure, they cry more easily, get overwhelmed at small things. The narrative that trauma makes you stronger is a lie. There is power in acknowledging it and growing from it."

Another cryptic message read: "Most of the scars on people's hearts weren't left by their enemies. They were left by the people who claimed to love them the most."

Jayam Ravi Breaks His Silence

Jayam Ravi has also spoken out about the rumours linking him to Kenishaa, which some have blamed for his divorce from Aarthi. During the teaser launch of his upcoming film Brother, he firmly denied the allegations, asserting, "I won't allow my name and fame, built through years of hard work, to be damaged so easily." He clarified that the divorce notice was sent only after discussions between both families, contradicting Aarthi's claim of being unaware of the proceedings.

"I spoke to her father through my lawyer before the notice was sent, and both our parents had already discussed the matter," he explained. Ravi addressed speculation about his car being spotted in another town during his son Aarav's birthday, stating, "I can take my car wherever I want. It's my hard-earned money."

Ravi also clarified his relationship with Kenishaa, denying any romantic involvement. "I know her as a singer and psychologist who has helped many overcome depression. We were planning to open a spiritual center together," he said, expressing confusion over the rumors. "I don't know if people are spreading these rumors because they disapprove of the idea. I have all the evidence and am ready to present it in court. The truth will come out through the legal process."
