Hari Hara Veera Mallu Review: Check Viewers' Response To Pawan Kalyan's Film

Three years after Bheemla Nayak, Pawan Kalyan is back with his latest movie Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1. This is his first release after becoming the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra and the film has opened to mixed response.

Krish Jagarlamudi, who has directed movies such as Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, Manikarnika and Vedam, has teamed up with Pawan Kalyan for this ambitious project, which will hit the screens worldwide on Thursday. However, the movie will see the light of day with special premiere shows in Bengaluru and the US on Wednesday.

The movie has Bobby Deol playing the antagonist's role. Nidhhi Agerwal, Nargis Fakhri, Sathyaraj, Vikramjeet Virk, Jisshu Sengupta, Pujita Ponnada, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Sachin Khedekar, Raghu Babu, Subbaraju, Kabir Bedi, Kabir Duhan Singh and others in the cast.

MM Keeravani has scored the music, Gnana Shekar V. S. and Manoj Paramahamsa's cinematography and Praveen KL's editing.

Story:

Set during the oppressive reign of the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb, a time when Hindus faced crushing taxes and cultural suppression, a lone hero emerges to challenge the empire. Hari Hara Veera Mallu tells the story of the legendary outlaw Veera Mallu, the first Indian to openly defy Mughal tyranny.

As his rebellion against the emperor's cruel generals gains momentum, Veera Mallu conceives an audacious mission: to strike at the very heart of Mughal power by stealing the priceless Koh-i-Noor diamond.

The film will trace the epic journey of the famed jewel-from its origins in the Kollur Mines to its place upon the Peacock Throne-as Veera Mallu plans a heist that will fund his revolution and become a symbol of resistance against a formidable empire.

The movie is going to have a special premiere in Bengaluru. Here, we bring you the reviews from the special shows:

Rama Rao: The movie started late.. but enjoyed the first half. Ear-splitting noise when Pawan is introduced...title card.. Power star performance.. action.. so far engaging despite highs and lows.

Venky Reviews: #HariHaraVeeraMallu is a lackluster period action drama, weighed down by an outdated and incoherent screenplay, further hampered by subpar technical quality!

The first half is somewhat tolerable and includes a few well-executed sequences, such as the introductory block and the kusthi fight. While the screenplay still feels dated, Keeravani's background score manages to elevate certain moments in this half.

However, the second half completely falls apart and never recovers. It feels both outdated and directionless, as if the director lost track of the plot entirely and added random scenes.

From a technical standpoint, the VFX is poor. Many scenes, especially in the second half, appear unfinished and clumsy. Dubbing is another major issue, with several characters, including Pawan Kalyan, suffering from noticeable lip-sync and voice clarity problems. Keeravani's music remains the film's only saving grace.

Overall, Pawan Kalyan's presence, a few sequences in the first half, and Keeravani's music are the only aspects that work. The rest is a major disappointment!

He is not in serious mood to do films. He should retire from movies. Politics suits him.

Poor CG and VFX , looks like a decade back story. BGM Music is ok, but songs fails.
As usual PK stardom is added advantage, Need strong 2nd half to become an AVERAGE movie.
That's why there are no buyers for movie and no theater owners are interested to buy movie. I think the result is noted way before the release to every movie business people.

2nd half is worst with Ameerpet VFX.
