'Greatest Of All Time' VFX Just Completed; Release Date, First Single, And Other Details

Director Venkat Prabhu just posted on his personal X account that the VFX work for his latest movie, 'Greatest Of All Time' has just finished.

According to News18, Prabhu had spoken at length about how the production of the movie was going, at the pre-release screening event in early March of the movie, J-Baby. He talked about how a major portion of the movie was already filmed and that CGI, as well as VFX work had already begun.

He also talked about how the production of the movie was going. If things went smoothly, he expected audiences to be able to listen to the first song of the movie, composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and written by Madhan Karky, as early as May 2024.

Things must have gone a lot smoother than Prabhu must've expected, as got to hear the first single 'Whistle Podu' as early as mid-Apirl. The lyrics video, posted on T-Series, crossed 25.5 million views in 24 hours. It has had 54 million views at the time of writing this.

Fans of the movie can expect it to drop in theatres worldwide on September 5th, 2024, as the date was revealed by a poster on Prabhu's X account. If you miss it in the theatres, the movie will also be available on Netflix after its theatrical period is over.

'Greatest Of All Time' is going to feature film stars like Joseph Vijay Chandrasekhar, professionally known as just Vijay in the lead, playing not one, but two roles. The film will also feature Meenakshi Chaudhary in another lead role, where she'll play a character that has been simply teased as 'Srinidhi'.

The first teaser for the movie was posted by actor Vijay's X account on 31 December, 2023.
