Fans loved seeing Ajith back in action when it hit the big screens on April 9, and now the big question is - when are we getting the OTT release?

Will Good Bad Ugly Be Released On Ajith's Birthday On OTT?

A lot of Ajith fans are hoping for something special: they want Good Bad Ugly to drop on Netflix on May 1, which is Ajith's birthday! Honestly, that would be the perfect gift - both for Thala and his fans. Netflix has already bagged the digital rights, so now everyone's eyes are on them.

If you're wondering how quickly Netflix moves with Ajith's films, here's a hint - Vidaamuyarchi landed on OTT just 25 days after its theatre release. But let's not forget, Vidaamuyarchi didn't really set the box office on fire, which might be why it rushed to digital.

Good Bad Ugly, on the other hand, is still doing decently well in theatres. So if Netflix decides to stick to that 25-day rule again, the earliest possible date would be May 4. But, there's another catch - Netflix usually aims for a 30-day window. And if that's the case, the film could land on May 8.

Nothing official has come from Netflix yet, but insider buzz suggests May 8 is the day we should mark on our calendars!

Meanwhile, in case you missed it, Good Bad Ugly raked in about ₹1.25 crore (India net) on its 16th day, proving it's still pulling crowds even after two weeks. Thala fans clearly aren't done celebrating yet!

The movie has Trisha Krishnan, who had paired up with Ajith in movies like Mankatha, Kireedam, Ji, Yennai Arindhaal and more recently Vidaamuyarchi, is playing the female lead in the movie. Prabhu, Arjun Das, Prasanna, Sunil, Usha Uthup, Rahul Dev, Raghu Ram, Yogi Babu, Tinnu Anand and others are part of the cast.
