Ram Charan's Game Changer hit theaters on January 10, but within hours, its HD print was leaked on piracy websites. Piracy has become a growing concern for the film industry in recent months, posing a major threat to movie revenues. During the film's theatrical run, several reports about Game Changer's OTT release have surfaced online.

Following a disturbing trend observed in the Malayalam film industry, where HD versions of big releases are leaked shortly after their release, Game Changer saw its HD print appear on piracy platforms on the very first day.

The film's OTT rights have been secured by Amazon Prime Video, and it is expected to begin streaming next month i.e February. However, the makers have yet to announce the official streaming date.

However, with the HD print now circulating online, it could seriously impact viewership numbers on the streaming platform.

Previously, Amazon Prime Video had announced the film's OTT release after its theatrical run through a post on X. The caption read, "An honest IAS officer confronts political corruption through fair elections to transform governance. #GameChanger will be available after its theatrical release."

Meanwhile, the movie has already been met with mixed reviews, which are reflecting in its box office earnings. In regions like Tamil Nadu, box office collections are on the decline, and the leak of the HD print could exacerbate the financial losses for Game Changer.
