Fatal Accident On Love & War Set: FWICE Urges Bhansali To Increase Compensation To ₹50 Lakh

Amid the shooting of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's highly anticipated film Love & War, a tragic incident took place. A crew member lost his life while the shoot was in progress.

In the early hours of June 17, Carpenter Chandradhari Singh Yadav reportedly suffered a fatal electric shock while he was working. The unfortunate accident has left behind his wife and two children.

Federation Demands ₹50 lakh From The Filmmaker

Looking at the horrific tragedy, Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has stepped in to advocate for the bereaved family. FWICE President BN Tiwari revealed that Bhansali has already offered financial assistance of ₹40 lakh. However, the federation has requested the compensation be increased to ₹50 lakh to provide stronger financial security for the family.

Education Expense Of Chandradhari Singh's Kids

FWICE has also urged the filmmaker to take responsibility for the educational expenses of Chandradhari Singh Yadav's two children, along with compensation. According to FWICE, this ensures the future of his kids despite the devastating loss.
