'F**K', 'Chu**ya' Words Censored From Jahnvi Kapoor's 'Ulajh'

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has cleared Jahnvi Kapoor's 'Ulajh' with 'U/A' certificate.

As per a report in Bollywood Hungama, the censor board has asked for a few deletions. Notably, the word 'f**k' was muted in several places. Also, the words 'f**king bas**rd' and 'Chu**ya' have been asked to be muted.

In addition to it, the board has asked the makers to blur a vulgar scene involving a hand gesture. Nonetheless, no visual scenes have come under censor scrutiny.

After implementing the requested cuts, the makers of 'Ulajh' received the censor certificate on July 15. The film's duration, as stated on the certificate, is 134 minutes, equating to 2 hours and 14 minutes.

In addition to Janhvi Kapoor, the cast includes Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, Meiyang Chang, Rajesh Tailang, Adil Hussain, and Jitendra Joshi. The film, produced by Junglee Pictures and directed by Sudhanshu Saria, was officially announced in May 2023, featuring the entire cast in a serious pose.

According to the initial statement from the producers, Ulajh follows the story of a young IFS officer from a prominent family of patriots who becomes entangled in a dangerous personal conspiracy while away from home.

'Ulajh' is set to release in cinemas on August 2.
