According to recent reports, the film is likely to land on JioHotstar. However, some unconfirmed reports claim that the deal has not been stuck yet.

Since L2: Empuraan had a Hindi release and multiplex screenings, it falls under the mandatory eight-week theatrical window rule before hitting digital platforms. That means the film is expected to drop on May 23.

He also dismissed rumors of a rift between Mohanlal and Prithviraj, stating that the entire team is united.
