'Dunki' Movie Review: What's Good, What's Bad; Find Out From Viewers' Words

Rajkumar Hirani, the creators of blockbusters such as '3 Idiots', 'PK' and 'Munnabhai Series', has teamed up with Shah Rukh Khan for the first time in 'Dunki, a multi-starrer which has Vicky Kaushal, Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani and others.

'Dunki' Story
The story of the movie revolves around four friends who harbour a shared aspiration: to venture to England. The problem for them is to get a visa and passport. One day, a soldier disembarks from a train, becoming the catalyst for a transformative turn in their lives. Making a solemn promise, he pledges to escort them to the land of their dreams. What ensues is a comical and heartening narrative of a hazardous expedition across deserts and seas, but more significantly, through the recesses of their minds.

This odyssey becomes a crucible that examines and shapes them - testing their bravery, intellect, and the tension of their divergent beliefs. "Dunki" unfolds as a tale of camaraderie, national boundaries, homesickness, and a love that transcends it all.

The movie has garnered a huge hype especially since the movie marks the first collaboration of SRK and Hirani. Moreover, this is the third movie of Khan to hit the screens in 2023 and both the films - 'Pathaan' and 'Jawan' - have struck gold at the box office. However, this time the movie is facing the mighty 'Salaar' at the box office.
