Dragon OTT Release: Pradeep Ranganathan's Film To Have Wider Digital Release
Pradeep Ranganathan's Dragon is on fire! The film, which has already won over the youth with its quirky storyline, will entertain the viewers in multiple language upon its OTT release.
While the movie was released in Tamil and Telugu during its theatrical release, the makers are planning to dub the movie in Kannada and Malayalam to reach a bigger audience for its digital version. However, there's still no word on a Hindi version, as Bollywood might be eyeing a remake instead.

Netflix bagged the digital rights for Dragon even before its theatrical debut. Meanwhile, the satellite rights have reportedly gone to Star Vijay, though fans are still waiting for an official confirmation. If all goes as planned, the movie is expected to hit Netflix in April.
Directed by Ashwath Marimuthu and produced by Kalpathi S. Aghoram, Dragon hit theatres on February 21. The film stars Pradeep Ranganathan in the lead role alongside Anupama Parameswaran, Kayadu Lohar, George Maryan, K. S. Ravikumar, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Mysskin.
What's the Story?
The movie follows Raghavan (Pradeep Ranganathan), a young man who leaves college with 48 arrears but manages to carve out a decent life for himself. However, life has other plans as he's forced to return to college to clear his backlogs. Raghavan's journey is one of deception and manipulation, but despite his flaws, he is surrounded by kindness from everyone around him. His life takes a dark turn after a breakup, pulling him into the risky world of financial fraud. What starts as a quick way to make money soon spirals into a dangerous game.
Box Office Success
Dragon has been smashing it at the box office! In its first 10 days, the movie raked in around Rs 83.7 crore worldwide. The Tamil version alone contributed Rs 72.5 crore, while the Telugu version earned Rs 13.6 crore. In Karnataka, the film collected Rs 8.3 crore, Rs 15.5 crore in Andhra and Telangana, Rs 56.95 crore in Tamil Nadu, Rs 2.05 crore in Kerala, and around Rs 90 lakh in the rest of India.
With its growing popularity and multi-language release plans, Dragon is all set to become one of the biggest hits of the year!
