Dragon OTT Release Date: Pradeep's Film Likely To Be Out On Netflix On This Date

Dragon Rocks At Box Office

Pradeep Ranganathan's latest film Dragon has emerged as a big hit at the box office in the first weekend, doing a fantastic collection.

Despite no big name in the stat cast, the Tamil movie has minted big money in three days. On its first day, the Ashwath Marimuthu directorial film earned Rs 6.5 crore with the Tamil version raking in Rs 5.4 crore and the Telugu version raking in Rs 1.1 crore.

On its second day, the movie collected Rs 10.8 crore. While the Tamil version raked in Rs 9.05 crore the Telugu version earned Rs 1.75 crore.

On Sunday, the movie came out with flying colours earning Rs 11.5 crore to end its first weekend at Rs 28.5 crore (nett).

The movie has opened to fantastic reviews which have helped the movie to do such a wonderful collection in the opening weekend. Despite the movie getting leading on torrent sites, Pradeep Ranganathan's movie has managed to do super business.

While the movie is pulling the audience to theatres, people are eager to know when the movie will hit the screens. Well, Netflix acquired the digital rights even before the film's theatrical release. This showcases the craze around the movie among the youth. Pradeep's previous movie Love Today was well received by viewers on the OTT platform.

As per the initial plans, the movie was supposed to be released on March 21. However, the streaming giant has not made it official yet.

Directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, the film features a stellar cast, including Anupama Parameswaran, Kayadu Lohar, George Maryan, KS Ravikumar, and Mysskin, and has struck a chord with audiences across South India.

The film follows Raghavan (Pradeep Ranganathan), a young man with little academic success but a knack for deception and manipulation. Despite his flaws, he finds himself surrounded by unrelenting kindness-from his parents to strangers. His life takes a drastic turn after a breakup, pushing him into the high-stakes world of financial fraud. What starts as a pursuit of wealth soon spirals into a dangerous web of deception.
