On Friday, Divyanka took to Instagram to update their followers about the current situation. Despite the unfortunate incident, she assured everyone that their money situation is now manageable, thanks to a friend who stepped in to help. Divyanka's post read, "Dear all, thanks for your immense love and support. It truly means a lot. After losing so much, thankfully, the much-needed love is not lost. Giving our loved ones and the concerned people an update as we are unable to reply to everyone personally. Currently, our money situation is kind of sorted as we've got some help from a dear friend."
In her detailed Instagram post, Divyanka explained the steps they are taking to manage the situation. "We've replaced the rented car as it was thankfully insured. We will be heading towards the embassy in another city today to get the emergency certificate sorted. Also, we have not lost everything - as being reported. We have a few things left that were in the boot of the car. Also, left with our spirit intact. No one can snatch that away."

Previously, Divyanka addressed the concerns and criticisms from some who suggested that they should have taken better care of their belongings. She clarified, "The car was parked in a secured resort property when the break-in happened. Please do not trouble us by suggesting how the care should have been taken. The resort knew about the 'luggage in car' status, and they were cool about it. This can happen to anyone. But I hope it doesn't. Be of help if you can. Or empathise. If that's seemingly difficult... please go ahead doing your business," wrote the actress.
The actress's updates highlight the resilience and positive spirit with which she and her husband are handling the situation. Despite the loss, their determination to move forward and their appreciation for the support from friends and fans are evident. Divyanka emphasized that their spirit remains unbroken: "No one can snatch that away."
taking to another social media platform, popularly known as X, formerly known as Twitter, Divyanka sought help from PM Meloni and wrote, " Dear PM Ms @GiorgiaMeloni, We were passionately touring Italy until we got robbed. Reported to the police. But robberies are being taken so casually here that we have already lost hope along with our enthusiasm. How will I & my people ever gather the courage to visit Italy again?"
