VJ Archana Ravichandran emerged victorious in the 'Bigg Boss Tamil' season 7 as she was declared winner in the grand finale held on Sunday.

During her 78-day journey in 'Bigg Boss Tamil', she navigated the challenges with grace and determination. From the very beginning, she demonstrated a tenacity that set her apart, facing each task and confrontation with unwavering resolve.

Her ability to outperform opponents was a testament to her strategic prowess. Her decision-making skills and foresight played a pivotal role in securing her position as the last person standing in the 'Bigg Boss Tamil' house.

VJ Archana's Earnings From 'Bigg Boss Tamil'

This helped her to win the trophy. More importantly, she bagged Rs 50 lakh cash prize. She has also walked away with a Maruti Nexa Grand Vitara (Rs 16.80 lakh- top end) and a plot valued at Rs 15 lakh.

Apart from the prizes, she has been paid remuneration for her stay in the house. Unconfirmed reports claim that she has been paid close to Rs 14 lakh while some reports say she received Rs 24.75 lakh as per salary.

It means she has earned at least Rs 64 lakh to Rs 74 lakh.

The prize amount won in game shows such as 'Bigg Boss' or any other reality shows is subject to a flat tax rate of 30 per cent. The relevant tax that is withheld at source once surcharge and cess are taken into account is 31.2 per cent. So, Rs 15,60,000 will be deducted from the prize money and she should get Rs 34,40,000. Also, the car and the plot are taxable.

Her earnings from her stay are taxable which she falls under, at the rate prescribed by the government for each slab.
