However, Venkat Prabhu, the director of Vijay's upcoming film 'GOAT', put an end to the speculation. He confirmed that Vijay had indeed watched 'Vettaiyan', adding fuel to the conversation.

Rajinikanth's 'Vettaiyan' has been one of the most anticipated films of the year, produced by Lyca Productions. In just two days since its release, 'Vettaiyan' has made a strong mark at the domestic box office, raking in over Rs 55 crore. As the fan war rages on, the film continues to dominate conversations both online and at the box office.
