Did Salman Khan Try To Resolve The Don 3 Controversy? Sources Reveal The Truth
The ongoing controversy surrounding Don 3 has taken another turn, with fresh reports claiming that Salman Khan was involved in the dispute. Earlier rumours suggested that the superstar was attempting to bridge the gap between Ranveer Singh and the filmmakers.

However, insiders now claim that these reports are completely baseless.
Speculation had been circulating that Salman Khan stepped in to mediate between Ranveer Singh, director Farhan Akhtar, and producer Ritesh Sidhwani amid growing tensions over the future of Don 3. However, sources have clarified that no such intervention ever took place.
A person familiar with the matter told HT City, "The stories about Salman Khan making calls and trying to resolve the issue are inaccurate. He has not been involved in the matter at all."
These claims directly contradict reports suggesting Salman was playing a role behind the scenes. While the superstar shares a cordial relationship with both Ranveer Singh and the Akhtar family, sources insist that he has had no involvement in the ongoing dispute.
Salman Khan's Name Emerges as a 'Potential Peacemaker'
Salman Khan's name surfaced as a potential peacemaker largely because of his longstanding friendships with all parties involved. However, the latest reports indicate that there is no truth to the speculation linking him to efforts to resolve the disagreement.
For now, there appears to be no immediate resolution to the Don 3 controversy. The reported differences between Ranveer Singh and Excel Entertainment continue to generate discussion, but Salman Khan is said to have played no role in the matter despite widespread rumours.
What Is the Controversy?
In 2023, Ranveer Singh was announced as the lead actor in Don 3, the next installment in the popular franchise. However, recent reports have claimed that the actor has exited the project just before production was scheduled to begin.
According to industry insiders, Ranveer is prioritising other commitments, including Dhurandhar. The reports suggest that this decision created tensions with director Farhan Akhtar and producer Ritesh Sidhwani of Excel Entertainment, who allegedly faced losses of nearly Rs. 45 crore in pre-production expenses.
Neither Ranveer Singh nor the makers of Don 3 have officially confirmed these reports.
