Did Kiccha Sudeep Meet Jailed Actor Darshan? Here's The Truth

Darshan has been lodged in Parapana Agrahara prison for over a month now in connection with the murder of Renuka Swamy. His well-wishers and family members have paid visits to the jail to extend their support. Meanwhile, a video surfaced on social media claiming that his one-time close friend and now rival, Sudeep, had visited Parapana Agrahara jail to meet him.

This video went viral, surprising many fans and suggesting that they had ended their rift. However, there is no truth to these claims. A reverse search on Google revealed that the clip was actually from Sudeep paying homage to legendary actor Dwarakesh, who passed away in April.

So, the video is misleading. Moreover, media monitoring around the prison where Darshan is held has not reported any visit by Sudeep. If such a high-profile visit had occurred, it would have been widely covered by the media. Therefore, the claims made in the viral video about Sudeep visiting Darshan in jail are untrue and misleading.

Renuka Swamy was abducted from Chitradurga by Darshan's aides and brutally assaulted at a shed in Kamakshi Palya, resulting in his tragic death in June. So far, 17 individuals, including Darshan and his associate Pavithra Gowda, have been arrested in connection with the case.

Earlier this month, a court extended the judicial custody of Darshan, his friend Pavithra Gowda, and others.

In another misleading video, it was falsely claimed that Shah Rukh Khan had met Darshan at Parapana Agrahara jail. Upon investigation and a reverse Google search, it was revealed that the video actually depicted Shah Rukh Khan's visit to a polling station during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections in Mumbai, where he and his family went to cast their votes.
