Wrong News: Pavithra Gowda's Ex-Husband Sanjay Singh On Reports Of Darshan Beating Up Him

Kannada actor Darshan had threatened and assaulted Pavithra Gowda's ex-husband Sanjay Singh, according to a report in TV9 News.

Sources close to Darshan and Pavithra Gowda informed the channel that Sanjay Singh had tried to contact Pavithra. Singh had requested her to send their daughter with them.

This issue fell into the ears of Darshan, who attacked Sanjay Singh. The report claimed that Singh was not speaking out against her out of fear.

However, Sanjay Singh has denied the reports and said that it is "wrong news". He said there is no truth in the claims and he has never spoken to Darshan.

He also stated that he was once a fan of Darshan.

On asking whether he had fought for custodial rights of his daughter, he said that she is staying with Pavithra Gowda as per the court's order and the daughter would stay with him once she turns 18.

Singh claimed that he has spoken to her following Pavithra Gowda and Darshan's arrest. "She is very strong," he added. He also claimed that he had met her on a few occasions.

Earlier, Sanjay Singh had extended support to his former wife following her arrest. He told a channel: "I want everyone to know that she is not the type of person to be involved in such acts. She is a kind and polite woman. She is a career-oriented girl and far too busy to stoop so low,"

Singh shared that Pavithra had always had big dreams and aspired to succeed in life. When asked if he had been in touch with her, Singh replied, "No. The last time I saw and spoke with her was on the day we got divorced in court."

He also said that they got divorced a decade ago and has spoken to their daughter a few times.
