Did Allu Arjun Ignore Telangana CM Revanth Reddy At Gaddar Awards?
A video of Telugu superstar Allu Arjun seemingly ignoring Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at the Gaddar Telangana Film Awards 2025 has gone viral, sparking a heated debate online.
The clip, reportedly from Saturday's award ceremony, appears to show the actor walking off the stage without acknowledging or greeting the Chief Minister. This has led many social media users to speculate that it was a deliberate snub, allegedly rooted in past tensions between the two.

Pushpa 2 Controversy & Revanth Reddy Reaction
For the unversed, the Revanth Reddy government had filed a case against Allu Arjun, arrested him and made him spend a night in jail in connection with the Sandhya Theatre stampede case. In fact, the Telangana CM had accused Arjun of visiting the theatre despite police refusing to give him permission.
Speaking in the Telangana Assembly, the CM, "Aise insaan bhi hote hain is duniya mein (Such people also exist in this world). Even after a deadly stampede, Allu Arjun stood there, waving to fans instead of taking responsibility."
Interestingly, the same government has now honoured Allu Arjun for his performance in Pushpa 2. Hence, the viral video claims that Arjun snubbed Revanth Reddy on stage.
Public Reaction
"Allu Arjun didn't even care to acknowledge the CM. Bro's got guts," commented one user on Instagram. Another said, "He didn't want to share the frame with those people for long!" However, not everyone was impressed, with one critic writing, "Fans celebrating disrespect to a state CM? The Telangana youth is doomed."
Meanwhile, others have called out the video as misleading. "This is a cropped clip from the end of the segment. They greeted each other respectfully, and Arjun even delivered a Pushpa dialogue after getting RR's permission," one user clarified.
Indeed, Allu Arjun did receive the award and thanked the CM and the Telangana government. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), he wrote:
"Humbled and grateful to receive the Gaddar Award for Best Actor for #Pushpa2.
My heartfelt thanks to the Government of Telangana, Honourable CM Sri @revanth_anumula Garu, Deputy CM @Bhatti_Mallu Garu, Cinematography Minister @KomatireddyKVR Garu, #DilRaju Garu & the jury. Big love to my fans... this one's for you my Army 🖤"
With the truth behind the viral video still debated, what's clear is that even award functions are not free from political undertones in the age of social media.
