Dhurandhar OTT: Has Dhurandhar 2 Released On Jio Hotstar In India?

Netflix has unleashed an extended 'Raw and Undekha' edition of the spy thriller Dhurandhar 1, giving subscribers a grittier, unpolished version of the 2025 blockbuster. Now available in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, this director's cut runs three hours and fifty-two minutes, a scant three minutes longer than the original theatrical release of three hours and forty-nine minutes.

However, run time isn't the headline. The most immediate difference is linguistic. In the theatrical version, much of the salty dialogue was muted or scrubbed clean to secure a broader certification.

That veil has now been lifted. Every expletive, every sharp piece of vernacular that was once silenced, has been restored and left intact. For good measure, the English subtitles now faithfully translate each curse word, leaving no room for ambiguity. But before fans of gore get too excited, temper expectations: there is no additional violence, no unseen splatter, and not a single extra scene of narrative consequence. It is, purely and simply, a swearing-in of the original edit.

Meanwhile, attention now shifts to Dhurandhar 2, the hotly anticipated follow-up that continues the saga of Hamza Ali Mazai. The second instalment charts his ruthless ascent to become the King of Lyari following the murder of Rehman Dakait. Viewers will watch him systematically sideline Uzair Baloch, consolidating power into an iron grip.

Crucially, the film also delves into the backstory of Jaskirat Singh Rangi - revealing exactly how Hamza first went undercover and became the lethal agent audiences have come to fear.

Directed by Aditya Dhar and headlined by Ranveer Singh, the franchise has become a juggernaut. With a supporting cast that includes Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun and Arjun Rampal, the spy-action thriller smashed every box office record in 2025. Its immediate predecessor, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, stormed cinemas on March 19, and its own 'Raw and Undekha' version is slated to stream on JioHotstar imminently.

Clearing the air on the digital premiere of the next chapter, JioHotstar recently made it official. In a dramatic post, the platform declared: "Aandhi banke jo aa raha hai usse DHURANDHAR kehte hain. 🔥 Watch Dhurandhar The Revenge, Raw & Undekha. Grand Digital Premiere on June 4th at 7 PM, starts streaming from June 5th only on JioHotstar."

The release of Raw and Undekha has also created confusion in the minds of viewers whether Dhurandhar 2 is released online. Mark your calendars: it will be out on June 4 at 7 pm.
