Dhurandhar 2 Box Office Collection Day 3: Ranveer’s Film in ₹500 Cr Race, Telugu-Tamil Entry Drives Weekend

Dhurandhar 2 Box Office Collection Day 3: Aditya Dhar's much-anticipated spy thriller Dhurandhar: The Revenge, starring Ranveer Singh, continues its impressive run at the Indian box office. Even on Day 3, the film has maintained a solid pace, while also witnessing a fresh boost with the delayed release of its Telugu and Tamil versions.

According to early estimates from Sacnilk, the film has collected ₹77.08 crore on Day 3 so far from 14,550 shows, taking its total India net collection to ₹360.34 crore and gross to ₹303.35 crore. Final numbers are expected to rise by the end of the day.

Telugu, Tamil Versions Released After Delay

A key development on Day 3 is the release of the film's Telugu and Tamil versions, which were delayed due to last-minute dubbing work and certification issues. While the Hindi version premiered earlier, the southern language versions only hit theatres now, resulting in a gradual addition to collections.

The Telugu and Tamil versions have slightly longer runtimes (around 231 minutes) compared to the Hindi cut, which underwent edits to trim certain violent sequences before release.

The film had already set the tone with a thunderous opening. Including paid previews worth ₹43 crore, Dhurandhar 2 registered a staggering ₹143 crore opening day total, with a standalone Day 1 net of over ₹100 crore.

Though it missed entering the top three biggest openers in India, it still secured a strong fourth position-an achievement that underlines its scale and hype.

Dhurandhar 2 vs Pushpa 2: The Gap Remains

Despite its strong performance, Dhurandhar 2 still trails behind the all-time record set by Pushpa 2: The Rule, which opened at ₹164 crore in India.

The Allu Arjun-starrer continues to dominate both opening day and lifetime charts, with over ₹1,200 crore in India. While Dhurandhar 2 has not matched that benchmark yet, its consistent run suggests it could emerge as one of the biggest hits of the year.

The sequel's performance is particularly noteworthy when compared to the first film. The original Dhurandhar had opened at just ₹28 crore, whereas the sequel has nearly quadrupled that number.

This sharp jump reflects stronger audience interest, wider reach, and the growing pull of the franchise.

Worldwide Collection Crosses ₹300 Crore

Globally, the film has already crossed the ₹300 crore mark within just two days, with:

India gross: ₹267 crore
Overseas: ₹64 crore
Total worldwide: ₹331 crore (approx.)

With strong word of mouth, high occupancy (over 70% on Day 3), and the addition of Telugu and Tamil markets, Dhurandhar 2 is expected to maintain momentum over the weekend.

While breaking Pushpa 2's records may be a tall task, the Ranveer Singh-led action thriller is firmly on track to become a major blockbuster.
