Dhanashree Verma Says She Caught Yuzvendra Chahal Cheating

On the reality show 'Rise And Fall,' Dhanashree Verma, a choreographer and ex-wife of cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal, made a startling claim. She alleged that she discovered Chahal's infidelity just two months into their marriage. The couple, who wed in 2020, officially divorced earlier this year.

During an episode of the show, host Kubbra Sait asked Dhanashree about the moment she realized her marriage was doomed. Dhanashree responded candidly, "First year. Caught him in the second month," which left Kubbra visibly surprised.

Alimony Rumours Addressed

Dhanashree also addressed rumours regarding alimony during her appearance on the show. She clarified to Aditya Narayan that their divorce was mutual and swift, dismissing any claims about alimony as false. "Just because I am not saying anything, you will go on saying anything?" she questioned rhetorically.

Reflecting on their relationship timeline, Dhanashree shared that they were married for four years after dating for six to seven months. She expressed frustration over the false narratives surrounding their split and maintained her stance on respecting Chahal despite everything.

The Beginning of Their Relationship

The couple's story began during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020 when they met through online dance classes. They got married in December 2020 with a grand ceremony in Gurgaon. However, by February 2025, they were seen outside Bandra Family Court filing for divorce by mutual consent.

The court proceedings moved quickly as they requested to waive the mandatory six-month waiting period for divorce. Shortly after, a Mumbai family court granted them a decree of divorce, finalising their separation.

Dhanashree reflected on how hurtful it was to deal with baseless accusations about alimony and other aspects of their split. Despite these challenges, she stated her intention to always keep Chahal's respect intact and expressed doubt about dating anyone else in the future.
