But here's what we know for sure: Darshan has already wrapped up shooting and dubbing for Devil, directed by Prakash Veer. Now, the team is working on bringing it to theatres without any delay.

Umesh Banakar Breaks Silence

With Darshan currently in prison following the Supreme Court's cancellation of his bail in the Renukaswamy murder case, fans have been wondering if Devil will get delayed. Producers' Association president Umesh Banakar recently clarified that Darshan has done his part.

"I have completed all my duties. I don't know what will happen next. So no one should suffer," Darshan reportedly told him.

Banakar added that the producers are ready to release the film and the crew is gearing up for an October 23 release. However, director Milana Prakash is yet to make an official announcement.

The Lineup & Expectations

The film pairs Darshan with Rachana Rai, while Sharmiela Mandre, Mahesh Manjrekar, Mukesh Rishi, and Achyuth Kumar play pivotal roles. With music by Ajaneesh Loknath and cinematography by Sudhakar S. Raj, Devil has been mounted on a grand scale under the Shri Jaimatha Combines banner.

Adding to the buzz, the first single, Idre Nemdiyaag Irbek, which was initially planned for Independence Day, will now be released this weekend. This track is special since it marks the first collaboration between Darshan and Ajaneesh Loknath.

Meanwhile, a heartfelt note shared by Darshan's wife Vijaya Lakshmi on behalf of the actor struck an emotional chord with fans.
