Coolie OTT Release: Amazon Prime Locks In The Date For Its Digital Release

Rajinikanth's Coolie has earned INR 279 crore at the box office. Fans eagerly await its OTT release on Amazon Prime, speculated for September 26, 2023.

Amazon Prime has formally announced the OTT release date of Rajinikanth's blockbuster Coolie. Thus putting an end to all the speculations.

Released on August 14, the movie has emerged as a big hit at the box office. The movie had clashed with Hrithik Roshan and Junior NTR's War 2. Yet it managed to the do well in non-Tamil centres.

On its 21st day, it pulled in a 1.01 crore domestically, bringing its total earnings to an impressive Rs 282 crore in India.

Coolie OTT Release Date

Even though the movie is still pulling the audience to theatres, the makers have decided to release the movie on the digital platform. Last week, it was reported that the movie would be out on September 22.

Well, the makers seem to have decided to maintain a four-week window for its digital release. Well, it will be out next Thursday (September 11).

Coolie's Box Office Journey

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Coolie features a star-studded cast including Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan, and Sathyaraj. The film's storyline revolves around Deva's pursuit of justice following his friend's murder. Despite some screenplay criticisms, Rajinikanth's magnetic presence, Anirudh's music, and Girish Gangadharan's visuals have made it a cinematic experience worth watching in theatres.
