Rajinikanth's Coolie has been ruling the headlines ever since it hit theatres, and for good reason. Despite receiving mixed reviews from critics, the film has managed to hold its ground and rake in massive numbers at the box office.

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film is a standalone venture (not part of the LCU) and comes with an ensemble cast featuring big names like Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan, Upendra, Sathyaraj, Rachita Ram, Aamir Khan and more.

Earlier, it was predicted the film might arrive on streaming within a month due to its polarising reviews and September 12 was the D-day for its digital release. But given how strongly it has performed at the box office, the makers are holding back a little longer to extend its theatrical run.

Now, buzz is that the Rajinikanth-starrer will make its digital debut in the sixth week of release. Industry insiders hint that the team is eyeing a festive window, most likely around the Navaratri season. If all goes as expected, fans can binge the film online on September 26.
