Comedy Khiladigalu Rakesh Poojary Dies After Suffering Heart Attack; His Last Picture Goes Viral
Rakesh Poojary, the winner of Comedy Khiladigalu season 3, is no more. He has reportedly died after suffering a heart attack in the wee hours of Monday.
His untimely death has come as a shock to his friends and fans. Reports in the Kannada media claim that Rakesh suffered a heart attack while attending a mehndi ceremony in Nitte, Karkala taluk, Udupi district. The incident reportedly occurred around 2 am.

His last picture apparently taken at the mehendi ceremony has now gone viral. In the photo, he is seen posing for the camera with his friends.

The news of Rakesh's death has been confirmed by actor Shivraj KR Pete. As per a report, he has returned after shooting for Kantara 2.
Fans and Well Wishers Condole His Death
Expressing her condolence over the demise, actress Rakshitha, judge of Comedy Khiladigalu, wrote: "The ever similing Rakesha...my fav Rakesha..the most sweetest kindest loving person... Namma Rakesha...will miss u magne." Mourning his death, one fan wrote:"Seriously very sad to hear Om Shanthi." Another fan wrote: "Miss you brother."
"Is he really no more?" The third user asked. It is painful to note that the message in his Instagram bio reads: "Life is short me."
One fan said: "Bio dalli helieo tarane agbidtalla guru prediction or what (he left us like he mentioned about life).
Who Was Rakesh Poojary?
Popularly known as Vishwaroop, Rakesh was a well-known face among the TV audience. He came to the limelight after taking part in the second season of Comedy Khiladigalu where his team ended in the second place.
In the third season, his team emerged victorious in Zee Kannada's hit show.
In addition to his television success, Rakesh had an active career in theatre and films. He appeared in Kannada films like Pailwan and Itu Entha Lokavayya, and in Tulu movies such as Petkammi and Ammer Police.
The entertainment industry mourns the loss of a true talent who left too soon.
In the recent years, Sandalwood has witnessed several untimely deaths and notable among them is the demise of Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar and Chiranjeevi Sarja.
