Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna's much-awaited historical drama, Chhaava, has finally arrived in theaters, winning praise from both critics and audiences. Directed by Laxman Utekar, the film is enjoying a successful theatrical run. However, many are already eager to know when and where Chhaava will be available for streaming.

According to reports, Chhaava is expected to make its OTT debut on Netflix after completing its theatrical run. While some films announce their digital release platforms in advance, the makers of Chhaava have kept this under wraps. Generally, films take around 45 to 60 days after release to arrive on streaming platforms. An official confirmation from the production team is still awaited.

Vicky Kaushal's Biggest Transformation for Chhaava

n a recent interview, Vicky Kaushal shared that Chhaava was the most physically demanding role of his career. He had to gain 25 kg of muscle in just seven months, undergoing intense horse riding, sword fighting, and combat training. Director Laxman Utekar insisted on complete authenticity, avoiding VFX for the film's high-octane action sequences.

The film also features grand battle scenes, with 2,000 junior artists and 500 stunt performers contributing to its epic scale. Kaushal emphasized that the large crowd sequences were shot with real actors, adding to the film's raw and intense feel.

Chhaava stars Vicky Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, Rashmika Mandanna as Maharani Yesubai, and Akshaye Khanna as Aurangzeb. The film also features Diana Penty, Ashutosh Rana, and Divya Dutta in key roles.

Produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films, Chhaava released in theaters on February 14, 2025. While audiences continue to experience the grandeur on the big screen, its OTT release is expected to expand its reach to a global audience in the coming months.
