Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 66: Vicky Kaushal’s Film Joins the Rs 600 Crore Club, Becomes 3rd Hindi Film
Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 66: Vicky Kaushal's historical epic "Chhaava" has carved a golden chapter in Indian cinema history, becoming only the third Hindi film to cross the ₹600 crore nett mark at the Indian box office.
Celebrating the life and bravery of Maratha warrior Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, Chhaava has now amassed a staggering ₹600.10 crore, a feat rarely achieved by a standalone film. Unlike Pushpa 2 and Stree 2-which rode on the success of their franchises-Chhaava has reached this milestone purely on the strength of its content, performances, and storytelling.

Despite its recent debut on Netflix, the film continues to pull audiences to theatres across the country, currently entering its tenth week of release. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the landmark earnings on social media, calling Chhaava's performance "exceptional and historic."
The film's box office journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. It opened to a blockbuster response, collecting ₹225.28 crore in its first week alone. The strong momentum continued with ₹186.18 crore in week two, followed by:
- Week 3: ₹84.94 crore
- Week 4: ₹43.98 crore
- Week 5: ₹31.02 crore
- Week 6: ₹15.60 crore
- Week 7: ₹7 crore
- Week 8: ₹3.50 crore
- Week 9: ₹2.30 crore
- Week 10 weekend: ₹30 lakh
These numbers underscore the film's enduring popularity and word-of-mouth success.
While Chhaava remains strong in theatres, its reach has expanded globally through Netflix, where it's trending at number five in the non-English film category. This dual success on both big and small screens highlights the film's wide appeal.
Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Maddock Films, Chhaava boasts an ensemble cast featuring Rashmika Mandanna, Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, and Diana Penty. A.R. Rahman's stirring score adds depth and emotion to the grand narrative.
Critics and audiences alike have hailed the film's compelling narrative, performances, production design, and emotional depth. As it continues its record-breaking run, Chhaava not only sets a new benchmark for historical dramas but also reflects the growing appetite for culturally rooted stories told with scale and sincerity.
With no signs of slowing down, Chhaava's journey is far from over-and its legacy as a modern classic is firmly sealed.
