Border 2 First Review Out As Advance Booking Gains Momentum

With only two days to go for the release of Sunny Deol's biggie Border 2, the advance booking of tickets have gained momentum.

As per Sacnilk website, over 1.26 lakh tickets have been sold around the country. It has earned over Rs 7 crore revenue.

Anurag Singh-directorial movie sees Sunny Deol returning Lt Col Fateh Singh Kaler. It is a sequel to 1997 blockbuster Border, directed by JP Dutta. Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty are part of the cast.

As the fans eagerly await the releae of the epic war-action movie, reviews have hit the internet.

A user, sharing the review from the censor board, wrote, "The scene where people wept in the censor screening of #Border2 was when Sunny Deol's character performed the last rites of his martyred son in the movie. High on emotions that will make any father cry. Even though Army families are emotionally strong, they're humans after all."

Another user added, "Border 2 revisits the 1971 war and serves as a solid reality check for those who believe India was meek or weak before 2014. At the same time, it works as pure nostalgia for fans of the original Border, bringing back that familiar emotion."

However, the third netizen gave a negative response to the flick saying, "First Review #Border2 : Another Worst Biggie !! Outdated Dialogues, Direction & Story. #SunnyDeol is so LOUD & irritated! #VarunDhawan you became #ArjunKapoor now. Seriously i still have headache 🤕 after watching this BJP War drama. 1.5⭐️/5⭐️."

However, the authenticity of these reviews are always under question. Nonetheless, the advance booking is getting good response in New Delhi and Maharashtra.

In Maharashtra, it has raked in Rs 1.16 crore from 1784 shows. In Punjab, it has raked in Rs 39.15 lakh from 565 shows while it has collected Rs 1.62 crore from 1137 shows.
