BookMyShow-RuPay To Deliver Pre-Sale Tickets, VIP Zones And Exclusive Event Benefits For Attendees

BookMyShow, a prominent live music promoter and ticketing platform, has teamed up with RuPay, the domestic card payment network managed by the National Payments Corporation of India. This partnership, set to last a year, will cover both digital channels and on-ground experiences. RuPay cardholders will enjoy benefits like online pre-sale ticket access, exclusive zones and lounges, merchandise perks, and fast lanes for top-ups at events.

These advantages will be available at major upcoming events such as the 2025 Sunburn festival and the 2026 editions of Lollapalooza India and Bandland in Bengaluru. Bandland is shifting its usual December schedule to February next year. This collaboration comes after a similar partnership between EVA Live and MasterCard was announced in June. However, neither of these partnerships are exclusive.

Collaborations with Financial Institutions

BookMyShow has previously collaborated with Kotak Mahindra Bank for Guns N' Roses and Maroon 5's recent Mumbai concerts. Additionally, HSBC was brought on board for Ed Sheeran's six-city tour in February. The platform is expected to continue working with various banking and financial institutions for future events.
