Blast From Past: Recalling Time When Jaya Bachchan Called Aishwarya Her 'Buddy'

When Jaya Bachchan spoke about her bond with daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, she described her as a "buddy," saying, "She is my buddy.

If I don't like something about her, I tell her to her face. I don't do politics behind her back. If she disagrees with me, she expresses herself."

She added, "The only difference is that I can be a little more dramatic, and she has to be more respectful. I am old, you know. That's all."

Recalling a past appearance on 'Koffee With Karan', where Jaya appeared alongside daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda, Karan Johar asked them for advice for Aishwarya.

Shweta responded by saying that Aishwarya is "just perfect" and doesn't need any advice. Jaya, however, simply advised her to "continue loving Abhishek the way she does."

On the work front, Jaya Bachchan was last seen in 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani'.
