'Bigg Boss Telugu 8' Update: Launch Delayed; Check New Premiere Date
The much-anticipated eighth season of 'Bigg Boss Telugu' was initially slated to launch in the second week of August.
However, there seems to be a delay in the show's commencement. Although the contestants have reportedly been finalized, the contract signing process is still ongoing, which may take some time.

As per current plans, the new season is likely to kick off on September 1. If there are further delays, the show might start on September 8 instead.
Several reports suggested that popular astrologer Venu Swamy would participate this season. However, inside information indicates that he may not be part of the show after all. The selection process for 'Bigg Boss Telugu' is thorough, with around 100-150 applications shortlisted every season. This time, there were approximately 200 applications, with about 20 contestants expected to make the final list.
Going by the rumours, the list will be a mix of social media influencers, young and small-time actors, news reporters, and beauty pageant contestants. Likely contestants include controversial actor Raj Tharun, anchor Vindhya, Vishnu Priya's boyfriend Shiva, anchor Nikhil, YouTuber Banchik Bablu, actress Deepika, Shweta Naidu, TV actor Indraneil, comedian Saddam, comedian Yadamma Raju, actress Sana, and comedian Kirrak RP.
The other interesting part of the story is that Nagarjuna's remuneration has witnessed a hike as he is set to get around Rs 30 crore for hosting the show.
Fans can look forward to the new promo of 'Bigg Boss Telugu' season 8, which is expected to be released in the next two to three days. With a mix of familiar faces and new talents, this season promises to be as exciting and unpredictable as ever.
