However, it is not Maya, but Vichithra who has been eliminated from the Kamal Haasan-hosted show. Her behaviour in recent weeks and her comments on Dinesh's personal life seem to have backfired big time for her.

Her comments on Dinesh's marriage life was also criticised by Kamal Haasan. Nonetheless, it is quite impressing to note that she has stayed in the game for 98 days.

For her age, staying in the game for 98 days is no small achievement and no contestant of her generation stayed so many days in the reality show. Her ability to give fight to the youngsters and bounce back has been hailed by the netizens.

During her stay, she hogged the attention of the viewers when she dared to speak about a casting couch experience that occurred two decades ago which eventually ended her career.

During a task, the veteran actress disclosed the reasons behind her departure from the industry in the early 2000s despite receiving offers.

In a shocking revelation, Vichithra shared that a leading south actor had propositioned her to "come to his bedroom." When she refused, she faced harassment through various means, including disturbances in the night with incessant door knocking.

To cope with the ordeal, Vichithra sought the assistance of her future husband, Shaji, who advised her to change her room daily until the shooting concluded.

Despite her efforts to navigate through the troubles, Vichithra was inappropriately touched by a stuntman during an action sequence. When she reported the incident to the stunt director, he slapped her, the actress, for the first time, opened up about the incident.

Following advice from well-wishers, she filed a complaint with the police, but justice eluded her. Attempts to bring the matter to the attention of the actors' guild also proved futile.

She asserted that the then actors' guild chief instructed her to overlook the issue and move on. This incident prompted her to exit the film industry and find solace in married life.

Vichithra is a yesteryear actress who predominantly appeared in Tamil films. She has also acted in a few Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada movies.
Her significant breakthrough arrived through a glamorous role in Selva's 'Thalaivasal', where she portrayed the character 'Madippu' Hamsa. While she often took on supporting roles, she notably shone in movies like 'Rasigan,' 'Muthu,' and 'Suyamvaram.' She also ventured into small screen, playing a prominent role in the drama series 'Maami Chinna Maami'.

Meanwhile, Archana, Dinesh, Manichandra, Maya, Vijay and Vishnu have entered the finale of 'Bigg Boss Tamil'.
