In the first week of Bigg Boss Tamil 8, viewers were taken by surprise with an unexpected elimination. Based on online polls, Jacqueline was widely anticipated to be evicted.

As per a poll, Soundarya seemed safe, leading with 26.8% of the votes (127,519 votes), securing her place for another week. Ranjith followed closely with 17.06% (81,160 votes), while Muthu Kumaran earned 16.18% (76,967 votes). Fatman Ravindar and Arun Prasath rounded out the top contenders with 13.72% (65,274 votes) and 13.6% (64,694 votes), respectively.

In a twist, however, it was revealed that Jacqueline was safe from elimination, and instead, Fatman Ravindar was the one evicted. This decision came as a shock, given Ravindar's engaging personality and his popularity in the house, especially after a prank episode that sparked discussions throughout the week and during Vijay Sethupathi's Saturday episode.
