As Bigg Boss Kannada Season 12 races toward its first finale - set to take place in just three weeks after its launch - the show has taken a dramatic turn with a surprise midweek elimination round.

This time, the eviction isn't in the hands of the viewers. Instead, the fate of the contestants rests with their fellow housemates, as the eviction is being decided through inmates' votes rather than public polling.

A total of 13 contestants - Abhishek, Ashwini SN, Chandraprabha, Dhruvanth, Dhanush Gowda, Gilli Nata, Jhanvi, Kavya, Mallamma, Manju Bhasini, Rashika, Sathish, and Rakshita - were nominated for this crucial elimination phase. The midweek eviction comes just days before the much-anticipated Sunday finale, making tensions inside the house run higher than ever.

Double Elimination Before First Finale?

Rumours are already swirling that not one, but two contestants might be shown the door this week - a double elimination that could completely change the course of the finale lineup. While unconfirmed reports suggest that Dog Sathish and Manju Bhasini have exited the show, Colours Kannada is yet to make an official announcement.

As of now, Ashwini Gowda, Cockroach Sudhi, Spandana, and Mallu Nipanal have secured their spots in the grand finale. However, the finale itself promises to be packed with surprises - with three to four more contestants likely to be evicted and replaced by four to five new entrants, keeping the competition alive and unpredictable.

So far, RJ Amith and Karibasappa have been evicted from this season.

Launched on September 12, Bigg Boss Kannada 12 faced an unexpected hurdle last week when the Jollywood Studios in Bidadi - where the iconic Bigg Boss house stands - was sealed over environmental violations. Fortunately, the Karnataka government granted a 10-day window for the studio to rectify the issues, allowing the show to continue.
