Bigg Boss 18: Eisha Singh Gets Schooled For Speaking English In House, She Yells Back
Every season, 'Bigg Boss' house has a rebel, and it appears Eisha Singh is stepping into this role this time around.
In the latest episode, Eisha was repeatedly instructed by Bigg Boss to refrain from speaking in English and to use only Hindi for her conversations. Frustrated, she lashed out.
"I don't want to speak in Hindi!"
The video shows Eisha lying in bed with Chum Darang sitting beside her. They were discussing a recent altercation in the house when Eisha switched to English.
Bigg Boss' voiceover reminded her, "Eisha, sirf Hindi mein hi baat karein" (Eisha, speak only in Hindi).
She retorted, "Nahi karni Hindi mein baat, nahi hota mujh se Hindi mein baat" (No, I don't want to speak in Hindi. I can't do it). I express myself better in English. I don't know how to speak in Hindi."
As she continued her conversation with Chum, she switched to English again, prompting a second reminder from Bigg Boss.
"Nahi horai hai Hindi mein baat!" (I am not using Hindi!), she yelled. When a third warning followed, she threw up her arms, saying, "Nahi, I will not. I will not talk in Hindi."
Fans call her rude
Fans of the show criticised her, calling her a brat. Given that she is a Hindi TV actress and hails from Madhya Pradesh, many felt it was reasonable to expect her to speak Hindi.
One viewer commented, "Serial mein kaise achi ban kar ghumti hain ye log, real mein itni badtameez hoti hain" (They appear so nice in TV shows, but are so rude in real life).
Another said, "Language which makes what you are today, your household audience is Hindi speaking. And now you're saying this to Hindi."
One more remarked, "To apne ghar chale jao agar Hindi mein baat nahi karni to" (Go back home if you don't want to speak in Hindi).
Some fans were reminded of Shalin Bhanot from season 17, who also resisted Bigg Boss' instructions to speak in Hindi.
Eisha has previously appeared in 'Ishq Ka Rang Safed', 'Ishq Subhan Allah', and 'Sirf Tum'.
